Car tour of Golden Gate National Park...no...not the bridge
Friday morning the four of us decided to take a drive through Golden Gate National Park, about a 40 minute drive from Clarens. Given that this is still winter in South Africa (SA), the weather started out a bit cool and cloudy...just like home! Not a lot of wildlife, however spectacular views. It reminded us of the colors of the lions!
We saw several Blue Wildebeast or Gnu...versus Black Wilebeast, which is really brown. |

Back from the drive, time for some shopping in the village of Clarens, then a siesta before dinner!
